keyboards are weird here. a recent cool addition is the macintosh control
panel that lets you change the key mapping. BUt, the keys still say the
wrong things on them. so i have to touch type and force myself not to look
at them.

I a; typing this from the Brussels2000 Center in brussels.
it is 5:15 here, but 8 am san francisco time, and i've only lslept about 5
hours out of the last 36. considering that, i feel okay though.  i munched
on these homeopathic no-jetlag pills all the way here so maybe they
worked.

ANyway, I'm here getting ready to soundcheck for the show, and apparently
it is going to be webcast.  go to http://www.dbonanzah.org/ and there
should be a link there.  the show is at 8 pm to midnight here, 9 hour
difference, so that's 11 am pacific time.  tune in if you can. it will be
a very low frame rate, like 1 every 10 seconds or something. i will be in
the first half, i think they're trying to get all the foreigners on first.

Brussels is strange, but not too strange. i'm still taking it in so i
don't have much to say yet that would make sense.
it's rainy and sunny on an approximately 2 hour cycle here.  i;m told it's
usually rainy.  I will describe more later. i think i should go soundcheck
now.
