Surely I don't have to remind everybody on this list that money doesn't
actually exist. (Hey, that rhymes! Too bad the meter's way off.) It's a
human invention, and "behaves" according to our agreed definition of it.
Nobody should have to pay the government anything, the government should
just create more money (much of it is merely computer bytes) and give it to
people who need it or work for it.

Simple price controls would prevent inflation. They would also keep record
stores from charging $18 for $2 worth of plastic and aluminum.

By the way, I know this won't happen (at least not for several hundred
years) but I feel that if human society is to advance we should set our
goals as high as possible, perfection and utopia, not expecting to actually
get there, but to improve as much as possible. There's something worthwhile
in discussing the ideal situation.

Okay, I'm off my soapbox now.
