My friend Becky Bond works for NewsForChange.com, an online new service
owned by Working Assets. She's at the GOP Convention right now and she is
making the photos she takes there freely available. (full disclosure:
before she went she called and asked me for advice about how to do this
and I recommended using the GNU General Public License, aka Copyleft.
She took me up on it, though I think the "Steal this Photo" slogan is a
mistake.) details below. be sure to spread this around. news photos are
very hard to come by for low-budget alternative publications...
