If you want to break down this argument to its essence, you could say that
all sound is generated by vibrating, resonant bodies - your acoustic
instruments, strings, percussion, human & animal voices, etc - or sound is
generated electrically by oscillators and filters and amplifier circuits.
There isn't anything more than that! Everything discussed thus far can be
described by these basic elements.
All the musical & otherwise sonic combinations HAVE NOT been explored. I
agree with that, however, are we forgetting that MUSIC is basically a
subjective response to sound? It's hard to pin labels on it.
Let's not even begin to discuss genres...
