I downloaded 2 Live Crew's "Banned in the USA" yesterday, in hopes of
remixing it. I haven't started yet, but I came up with a better idea while
trying to get out of my building. Why not have everyone on the list who's
interested mix / destroy "Banned in the USA" into 15-20 second pieces, then
we could randomly or not-randomly put the pieces together into one great
song / project. It'd be the Detritus Allstars - "Banned in the USA," it'd be
so classic! If this idea sounds horrible, tell me, and I'll just start
destroying the song for myself.
