That was my idea. I guess I'm the moderator. Um, I can't really accept mp3s
through any of my electronic mail accounts (accept for this one, but the
computer is so so so slow). Maybe once I get back to school in 2-3 months, I
can officially organize it. Just keep passing the ideas along to friends or
whatever and whoever is interested, we'll do something. Anyone who wants to be
down, just email thegirltalkAThotmail.com , and I'll add your name to the list.
In case anyone forgot, the idea is just remixing / destroying / whatever-ing
any portion of 2 Live Crew's "Banned in the USA" you like, with your samples
ranging between 1-60 seconds, and then someone (maybe me?) would randomly or
not-so-randomly put them all together, and it'd be the All-Stars of
Plunderphonics / Collage Music present our anthem, "Banned in the USA 2001." It
sounds so SMOOTH already.
If I walk in and out of large refrigerators a few times a day, it'll give me a
headache most of the time.
