Ralph Johnson [rumori] Grey Day?

Well, its hard to get too upset about this, other than a little annoyed,
perhaps. This is a pretty standard response on the part of many people.
It really seems kind of reactionary and not very well thought out. I
actually wouldn't mind it too much if pages did look like that one, they'd
at least load faster than all the java-crap and graphics laden bilge that
too often does attempt to impress us, or expand our minds, or whatever.
Anyway, they are not really thinking. None of their arguements make a lot
of sense, and I would imagine that anyone involved in the web, other than
the usual corporate/enterprise suspects, would understand the
anti-intellectual/anti-web leanings of these people. They are not bad,
just misguided pawns preaching to the converted.
