quickly in my defense,
i was being intentionally broad, just to make a point that is kind of
obvious but not at the same time. of course there's plenty of dj's out
there who are into the theory and all that intellectual stuff. i have to
admit, though, that my prejudice of "most" dj's is exactly that, prejudice.
i don't know any myself. just see them on mtv with the nike, etc...
hope that dj'ing radio thing lasts. there was a station in LA that was all
dance music with long stretcches of mixes and not that many commercials
even. lasted maybe a year or more.
