Ok, nice. Too bad the petition is so wishy-washy:

"We the undersigned are petitioning to request that your ... plans ...
take into account the need ... to play unencrypted music...."

"... strongly urge you to keep the rights and preferences of consumers ...
at the forefront of your design considerations.?"

sigh.

How bout "The undersigned hereby declare you better get into another line
of busines because the music industry is dying, and we're going to make
sure it keeps dying...."

yeah i know, that's a pipe dream. but so is the actual petition...
