i've been playing around with a tape recorder recently, adding my own NYC
sidewalk/subway samples into web/flash projects, and i'm wondering if anyone
has suggestions for an inexpensive microphone, small enough to be
unobtrusive and with enough direction to pick up an individual from like 5
or six feet... the recorder is a small monaural thing, and i'm just doing it
for fun, so price is more of a concern than quality...
