[rumori] Orrin Hatch in favor of Napster

  So says <http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/5/16963.html>. An
interesting, brief read. You will spend longer looking at billboards
on your way to work than reading it, unless you happen to be reading
along the way.

One unmentioned aspect is his apparent seeking of removing the
industry copyright holders default rights from the net, making it a
separate entity. One would think the RIAA would counter rapidly with
clauses explicitly claiming net.rights as well as conventional
duplication - but if the intention is earnestly towards a rebalancing
of some kind, perhaps this could be accomodated for and guarded
against, perhaps as in the form of the UK's "unfair contracts"
legislation.
