Not true. Last season, (or was it two seasons ago) Chicago Hope (CBS-network), said "shit, happens" in the 10 hour time block. (how edgey!) South Park (cable) then proceeded to use the word "shit" 162 times in one of their episodes. (they even provided a nice counter to keep track) but it does matter how you use the word, not sure of the logic but in that South Park episode their were uses which were censored and the other 162, which were not. And i'm not sure but i think shows like NYPD Blue (ABC-Network) have used shit ever since, scattered here and there.
