You want a non-redundant challenge to copyright law? Oh, now I get it, you
mean a Slogan!

How about, "if sampling and music sharing is killing the recording industry,
show us the body!"

It's already been like twelve hours and no one's addressed my "burden of
proof" thing. :(
Am I way out in left field or something? It's just a draft you know. And
the copyright on it is, of course, a joke. I don't wanna offend nobody. You
can skip the first half of my post! I don't want to make anyone impatient!
Maybe you all have me filtered out because I'm stupid and ugly.

Thinking aloud-
The home taping and file sharing guidline 2. basically says "same for this."
Then in 3. we talk about right to share not being denied through
technological impediments because sharing is already common practice and
therefore a public good.

What I'm thinking of is a statute I think I heard of that If someone wants
to build on a vacant lot, and people have been using that vacant lot to get
to work, and the construction will block their access to the path they've
been using, then the builders are legally bound to make allowances for the
pedestrians who had been relying on that path. I guess it's probably a
state and not a federal statute or law. Actually I think I saw it on TV.
You know, that one with Abe Vigoda, and the police station and everything...
